I often find myself creating very small art, but it seems to be the universe I live in. I'm happy with that. Here are a few tiny things I've made:
Whale - 3.5" in length - paper
Flower pot - 1" in height - paper, eraser bits, staples, dirt
Sheep - 2" in height - foam body, wired legs in lanyard, pen cap for the head, eraser bits for the feet
---
Scupley miniatures, painted with acrylic (that is a quarter coin, for size reference)
---
Drawer Man (4" tall) and Drawer Cat (2" tall) puppets
- aluminum wire armatures, hand-crafted wooden drawers (that open and can be animated),
epoxy putty and foam core, hand-sewn craft foam exterior painted with acrylic,
sculpey head for man, pins-on-cork-board tie downs
I got a few pictures of Drawer Man in his production stages:
---
Winter Girl puppet (6" tall)
- aluminum wire armature, epoxy and foam build-up, hand-sewn sweater, denim pants, boots, and wired scarf, scupley head painted with acrylic, replacement eyes/blink, pins-on-cork-board tie downs
(gloves from an old doll)
---
And because these things go into stop motion animation production,
here's a sampling of some of these guys in action (and then some):
